Refund Process
Below are three scenarios under which a refund is made. Refunds are also related to how you have paid for your order.
General Note: if you have paid for your order by card, we only charge your card once the merchant has prepared your order (referred to as Captured Payment). Until then, the amount will only be on hold in your card (referred to as Authorized Payment). Your bank might send you an sms that a transaction has taken place, that is a standard sms all banks send even if the amount is only on hold (Authorized).

REFUNDS IN CASE OF APPROVED RETURNS
Once a merchant approves your return request, DubaiStore instantly processes the refund amount back to your card. Normally it takes the issuing bank of your card 5 to 7 business days to reflect the amount back in your card.
In Case You Paid by Cash-On-Delivery or Wallet
The amount will be refunded as credit to your DubaiStore Noqodi wallet which you can use to pay for one of your future orders on DubaiStore.
REFUNDS IN CASE YOU CANCELLED YOUR ORDER
At this point we would have not charged your card yet and we have only put the amount on hold. If at the time of order you have received an sms from your bank that the transaction has been done, this is a standard sms sent by all banks even when the amount is only put on hold. As a proof, you will not find a record of this transaction in your card statement. If you call your bank, they will inform you that this amount is only put on hold.
Note: if you want to cancel your order but cannot see the cancel button in your order page, this means that the merchant has already prepared your order. This is the point were we actually charge your card. In this case you can submit a return request when the order is delivered to you.
In Case You Have Chosen Cash-On-Delivery or Wallet as a Method of Payment
The value of the order will be refunded to your DubaiStore Noqodi wallet which you can use to pay for one of your future orders on our DubaiStore.
REFUNDS IN CASE YOUR ORDER WAS CANCELLED BY THE MERCHANT
Important Note: When you place an order on DuaiStore, the order value is put on hold in your card. We only charge your card once the merchant clicks on "Order Ready" in their dashboard.
Normally a merchant might cancel an order for reasons such as the item being out of stock or if the merchant notices that the item is damaged or has a damaged packaging. If the merchant cancelled the order before clicking "Order Ready" in their dashboard, as mentioned above, at this point the amount on your card would have only be put on hold, and thus we simply release the hold. Even if you have received an sms from your bank at the time of order that a transaction has been made, this is a standard sms sent by all banks even when the amount is only put on hold. As a proof, you will not find a record of this transaction in your card statement. If you call your bank, they will inform you that this amount is only put on hold.
